2022 is in full swing and we're already nearly a whole month down! With that in mind it is a good time to remind ourselves (and you of course) of our zero-waste initiatives to follow through with this year.

1)  Encourage The World To Use A Reusable Cup

We're dedicated to the continual education and promotion of reusable cups. Keep an eye out for our articles with all our tips and tricks and surprisingly useful uses for our Luxey Cups, Smoothie Cups, MiniLUX Snack Containers and Water Bottles. 2)  Sort Every Piece Of Rubbish That Enters Our Warehouse (And Home)!

Here at Luxey HQ we want to make sure we have the smallest environmental footprint possible. We're so pretty proud of our 5-Part Recycling System, which keeps our recycling game strong! You can read more about this in our previous blog, The Truth About Recycling.

3)  OMG, We've Got Worms! 

Food scraps in landfill can contribute to methane and air pollution on a VERY large scale. By using a worm farm we're contributing to healthy soil, which can be used to grow fruit trees, veggies and trees. We love our worms and how they contribute to our zero-waste vibe. 4) Use Our Reusable Shopping Bags

Could using a reusable bag be the easiest way to achieve zero-waste? Not only are they super practical but they are also super cute, particularly our Pastel Tote Bags and our Peach Base Tote Bag.

5)  Ditching The Single Use Straws 

There's been a big push for this over the past few years and many companies have chosen to go with paper options. But let's be honest, the soggy mess you end up with at the end is not pleasant. Our Glass straws and Bamboo straws are a much more sophisticated way to enjoy your beverage! Even if you don't feel like you have it all together, at least your straw will be.
